The Golden Spur Motor Inn is located in Newport, Washington, the City of Flags. The small community of Newport is nestled in the mountains of the northeastern corner of Washington State, with Canada bordering on the north, and Idaho on the east.

Throughout Pend Oreille County, recreation is abound. Some fifty-five lakes incorporate the area not including the magnificent Pend Oreille River. Fishing and boating are favorites of visitors and locals, as well as hunting, hiking, and camping during the spring, summer, and fall months. In the winter, several ski resorts are within a short distance, and snowmobilers find the many local trails challenging and fun.

We have plenty of parking even to those with large trucks and campers. Our convenient location and visibility from the highway makes locating us very simple.
